Nigerian striker Kingsley Eduwo has officially parted ways with Tunisian Ligue 1 side Club Africain.
The separation, finalized on December 31, 2024, was described as a mutual agreement, marking the end of Eduwo’s 18-month stint with the team.
Eduwo, who joined Club Africain in August 2023, took to social media to share a heartfelt farewell with the club’s supporters.
In his emotional message, he reflected on his journey and expressed gratitude to the fans and teammates who had been part of his time at the club.
Thank you all for the good times and sweet memories we shared together,” Eduwo wrote. “I had a great experience working with you all, and I learned a lot from each and every one of you.
Dear CA fans, I love you all. Dear friends, good luck for the rest of your life. Until we meet again. Thank you for everything. One Love.
Eduwo’s exit comes after a reportedly amicable decision by both parties, although it is believed that Club Africain head coach David Bettoni was a key figure in initiating the move.
The club had provided the 23-year-old forward with an exit agreement, enabling him to leave on terms that included relinquishing a portion of his remaining wages, estimated at $90,000.
During his time at Club Africain, Eduwo made 37 appearances across all competitions, registering 12 goals and one assist.
His tally included seven goals in the domestic league and five in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Despite his contributions, it appears the club and player agreed that a parting of ways was the best path forward.
Eduwo’s tenure at Club Africain followed a successful stint at CS Sfaxien and a brief period with ES Tunis, further cementing his reputation as a capable forward in Tunisian football.
His departure now leaves him free to explore new opportunities in the transfer market.
The Nigerian forward’s farewell marks the end of a chapter that brought moments of success and challenges, with Club Africain supporters now bidding goodbye to a player who left his mark in a short span.
The team will look ahead to its future under coach Bettoni, while Eduwo embarks on the next stage of his football career.
