German-born Ghanaian winger Jamie Leweling is set to extend his contract with VfB Stuttgart, according to exclusive reports from Sky’s Patrick Berger.
The 23-year-old, whose current contract runs until 2028, is expected to secure an early extension through to 2029.
Jamie Leweling’s stellar performances since joining Stuttgart have caught the attention of the German national team. After debuting in the 1-0 win over the Netherlands in October, he marked the occasion with his first goal for the national team.
Initially loaned to Stuttgart from Union Berlin on 13 July 2023, Leweling made his move permanent on 19 May 2024, signing a contract until 2028. As a reward for his exceptional form, the club is reportedly set to adjust his salary, making him one of Stuttgart’s highest earners moving forward.
Leweling’s rise has been rapid, and with this new contract, his future at Stuttgart looks secure, reinforcing his growing importance both at the club and on the international stage.
