Victor Olatunji linked with permanent SK Beveren move after Salt Lake loan

Nigerian striker Victor Olatunji, currently at SK Beveren, is linked with the Belgian club after joining from Salt Lake on loan.

The 26-year-old centre-forward moved to Beveren on 3 September, with the loan agreement running until 30 June 2027. The transfer links him with the Jupiler Pro League side after one season in Major League Soccer with Salt Lake.

Olatunji made 25 MLS appearances during the 2025-26 campaign and scored five goals. Salt Lake signed him from Sparta Prague in August 2025 for a reported €2.15m, with his market value now listed at €2m.

The forward previously spent two seasons with Sparta Prague, helping the club win the Czech league and cup double in 2023-24. He made 14 Bundesliga appearances during his career and has also played in the Europa League and Champions League.

Olatunji began his European career in Cyprus with AEK Larnaca before moving to Slovan Liberec and then Sparta Prague. He has since changed clubs again as part of a move that places him in Belgium for the 2026-27 season.

His current agreement with SK Beveren is due to end on 30 June 2027, when he is scheduled to return to Salt Lake.
