Youssef En-Nesyri has emerged as a transfer target for Russian Premier League club CSKA Moscow, who are considering a $15m offer for the Al-Ittihad striker during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur reported on X that CSKA Moscow have placed the Morocco international at the top of their list of targets as they look to strengthen their squad in January.
The Russian club are expected to offer $15m in an attempt to persuade Al-Ittihad to sell the 29-year-old forward. However, the Saudi club have yet to make their position clear, with no indication so far of whether they intend to reject the proposal outright or enter formal negotiations.
En-Nesyri’s agent, Fahd Sareh, said previously that the striker had already received offers to leave Al-Ittihad during the winter window. He added that the player preferred to remain focused on his performances for the Saudi club.
The Morocco international joined Al-Ittihad during the previous winter transfer window after leaving Fenerbahce. He was brought in to replace French striker Karim Benzema, who moved to domestic rivals Al-Hilal.
En-Nesyri has made an impressive start to the current season under German manager Jens Vissing. He has played 16 matches, scoring eight goals and providing two assists.
Those performances led to his inclusion in Morocco’s squad for the current international break. The call-up came after En-Nesyri missed out on representing the Atlas Lions at the 2026 World Cup.
CSKA Moscow’s interest would give Al-Ittihad a decision to make over a player who has quickly become an important part of their attack. The club are now expected to assess the proposed $15m fee and determine whether they are willing to consider negotiations for his departure.
No agreement has yet been confirmed, and the available information does not state whether Al-Ittihad have received a formal offer from CSKA Moscow. The Russian side’s reported interest nevertheless places En-Nesyri among the notable potential targets for the forthcoming winter market.
