Thuso Moleleki completes permanent move from Orlando Pirates to Kruger United
Orlando Pirates midfielder Thuso Moleleki has completed a permanent transfer to Betway Premiership newcomers Kruger United, his agency has confirmed.
The 26-year-old joined Pirates in July 2024 after previous spells with Free State Stars and ORBIT College. He made three appearances for the Buccaneers towards the end of the 2024/25 season but was unable to establish himself as a regular in the team.
Moleleki subsequently returned to ORBIT College on loan for the last campaign, featuring 18 times as the club were relegated from the Betway Premiership.
His move to Kruger United was confirmed by his agency on Sunday. Pirates had not officially announced his departure, although Moleleki had not been present at the club’s Mayfair base this season and had been seen at several other clubs before agreeing terms with Kruger United.
The newly promoted side secured their first victory of the season on Sunday, beating TS Galaxy 1-0 in the Mpumalanga derby.
That result took Kruger United to four points from six matches and lifted them to 13th in the Betway Premiership standings.
