Scottland FC have parted company with head coach Norman Mapeza with immediate effect after failing to qualify for the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
The club confirmed the decision following the team’s elimination from the continental competition, despite Mapeza overseeing an impressive domestic campaign.
Scottland are currently second in the championship under his leadership, but the failure to reach the CAF Champions League group stage has led to a change in the dugout.
The club’s management must now begin the search for a new head coach capable of preserving Scottland’s strong form on the domestic scene.
