Rodez AF bring in France and DR Congo winger Kelian Nsona from Casa Pia
Rodez AF have signed France and DR Congo winger Kelian Nsona from Casa Pia, with the 24-year-old joining the Ligue 2 club on 1 September.
Nsona has agreed a contract with Rodez running until 30 June 2029. The left winger moves to France after one season with Casa Pia, where he arrived from German club Hertha BSC in July 2025.
The transfer takes Nsona back to the country of his birth, having been born in Ivry-sur-Seine. He is eligible to represent both France and the Democratic Republic of Congo and is listed as holding both nationalities.
Nsona began his youth career with US Ivry before moving to Paris FC’s academy in 2012. He joined SM Caen’s youth setup in 2017 and progressed to the club’s senior side two years later.
His performances for Caen led to a move to Hertha BSC in January 2022, with the German club paying €500,000 for the winger. Nsona subsequently spent time away from Berlin on loan, first joining Slovakian side MSK Zilina in February 2024 and then Dutch club FC Emmen in August of the same year.
He returned to Hertha at the end of the 2024-25 campaign before switching to Casa Pia on a free transfer in July 2025. His move to Rodez now represents another change of league, taking him from Portugal’s top flight to France’s second tier.
Nsona is 1.89m tall and favours his right foot despite operating primarily from the left wing. Rodez have secured his services after his brief spell in Portugal, where he was part of the Casa Pia squad at the beginning of the 2026-27 season.
He joins a Rodez side competing in Ligue 2 and becomes the latest step in a career that has already taken him through France, Germany, Slovakia, the Netherlands and Portugal. His new agreement keeps him at the French club until the summer of 2029.
Nsona’s completed move from Casa Pia to Rodez AF was registered on 1 September 2026.
