Riyad Mahrez emerges as ambitious Deportivo La Coruna target after leaving Al-Ahli

Deportivo La Coruna are reportedly considering an ambitious move for Algeria international Riyad Mahrez, who is currently without a club after ending his time with Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli.

The possibility was revealed by journalist Juan Arrien, who says the Spanish club are examining whether they can make a major signing before the end of the transfer window. Mahrez is understood to be on Deportivo La Coruna’s list of potential targets as the club look to add significant quality to their attacking options.
