José Carlos is confident that the Colombian player will recover, stating, “At the highest level, at the beginning of the competition, Falcao might not be at one hundred percent of his capabilities.”
Radamel Falcao suffered a serious knee injury on January 22 during a French Cup match against Chasselay, resulting in a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament. He underwent surgery in Porto on January 25.
It could be considered miraculous that his recovery is progressing quickly, as such injuries typically require at least six months of convalescence. Falcao himself has expressed optimism about his progress, stating, “Rehabilitation is going very well. I hope to be able to play in the World Cup, but it is still too early to be sure.”
While he acknowledges being slightly ahead of schedule, Falcao emphasizes the importance of monitoring his progress day by day. With his determination and motivation, he hopes to make a successful comeback.
