Paris Saint-Germain are continuing to monitor Ghanaian winger Prince Amoako Junior as they look to shape their squad for the coming years.
The 19-year-old left-sided attacker has emerged as a target after attracting attention with his performances for FC Nordsjaelland. Scouts from PSG have watched him in action, while German clubs have also sent representatives to assess his progress, according to reports by Ghana Soccernet.
Amoako Junior developed at the Right to Dream academy before moving into senior football with FC Nordsjaelland. His pace, athleticism and technical ability have made him an increasingly interesting prospect for clubs tracking young talent in Scandinavian football.
He has featured in 18 matches so far this season, scoring twice and providing one assist. Those performances have strengthened PSG’s interest, although the French club are aware that any deal could prove complicated.
FC Nordsjaelland have the player under contract until June 2030, giving the Danish club a strong negotiating position. With competition from Germany also increasing, PSG are considering whether to turn their interest into a formal move.
Amoako Junior, who was born in Amasaman, is currently assigned an estimated market value of 8m euros by Transfermarkt. That figure could form part of the financial considerations surrounding a potential transfer, although it does not determine the Dane-based club’s asking price.
The winger’s development will receive further attention when FC Nordsjaelland face AS Monaco in the third round of the league phase of the UEFA Conference League.
The match is scheduled to take place very soon, with the fixture providing another opportunity for scouts to assess Amoako Junior against opposition from outside Denmark.
Ahead of the game, 1xbet’s listed prices put an FC Nordsjaelland victory at 6.50, with a draw priced at 5.25 and an AS Monaco win at 1.40.
