Krasso faces Paris FC crossroads after falling out of favour, says Kone

Jean-Philippe Krasso played a key role in Paris FC’s successful promotion campaign, but his fortunes at the club have changed sharply. The 29-year-old striker managed only two goals and two assists in the league during the following season.

His difficult spell has continued into the opening stages of the 2026/27 campaign. Krasso has been restricted to a place on the bench and has made just one appearance, playing five minutes against Lorient on 10 October.

Former Cote d’Ivoire international Arouna Kone has discussed Krasso’s situation with 225foot, focusing on the challenge of maintaining peak performance while being left out of the team.

Kone’s assessment

Kone believes a prolonged period away from regular first-team football can make it difficult for any player to maintain his best level. Krasso’s limited involvement at Paris FC has therefore become a major factor in his current difficulties.

The forward’s ability to adapt to the demands of Ligue 1 is also being questioned. His individual technical quality must be matched by consistent performances if he is to regain his place in the side.

Krasso now appears to be at an important point in his Paris FC career. He can remain in the capital and attempt to convince the coaching staff that he deserves another opportunity, or seek a move elsewhere in order to secure more regular playing time.

The immediate objective for the striker is to rediscover consistency on the pitch. His lack of involvement this season has placed greater importance on whichever decision he makes next.

Paris FC are due to face Auxerre in their 10th league match of the season. The available 1xbet odds list Paris FC as favourites at 1.87, with a draw priced at 4.04 and an Auxerre victory at 4.40.
