Namaso inspires Auxerre to 3-1 victory over Le Havre

Danny Namaso scored twice and set up another goal as AJ Auxerre beat Le Havre 3-1 in Ligue 1.

The Cameroon international was directly involved in all three of Auxerre’s goals, producing an influential display in attack. His finishing posed a constant threat, while his movement and passing also helped create opportunities for his team-mates.

Le Havre’s defence struggled to contain the 26-year-old throughout the match as Namaso combined his eye for goal with an effective contribution in the build-up. His performance made him the standout player in Auxerre’s victory.

The result takes Namaso’s league record this season to three goals and two assists. The forward’s latest display underlines his importance to the Auxerre side and offers further encouragement for the remainder of the campaign.

Namaso, who plays on the left wing, is under contract with AJ Auxerre until June 2029. His estimated market value is six million euros, according to Transfermarkt.

The performance also strengthens the impression that Namaso can play a significant role in Auxerre’s ambitions. He has now provided a decisive contribution in another important league fixture and will be expected to continue that form in the club’s next match.

Auxerre’s next game comes against Le Mans on the 8th matchday of the French championship. The listed odds for the fixture are 2.05 for an Auxerre win, 3.40 for a draw and 3.20 for a Le Mans victory.
