FIFA emphasized the quality of the proposed plans and the confidence surrounding their execution.
In comparison, South America’s bid to host the World Cup, with matches in Montevideo, Buenos Aires, and Asuncion, scored 3.6 out of 5. FIFA also noted that this proposal was part of efforts to celebrate the centenary of the World Cup.
