Michael Olise to leave luxury Munich home as Real Madrid transfer rumours swirl

French World Cup star Michael Olise is set to move out of his luxury home in Munich this summer, amid intense speculation over a possible transfer from Bayern Munich to Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old winger, who shone for France at the 2026 World Cup, has been heavily linked with a move to the Bernabeu, where Spanish and French media have suggested he could form a formidable attacking partnership with Kylian Mbappe.

However, Bayern Munich are understood to have no intention of selling the player, viewing him as “untouchable” in their long-term project.

Move from Munich home not tied to transfer

German newspaper Bild reports that Olise will leave his current residence in the upscale Grunwald district by the end of August.

The property, which the Frenchman has rented for the past two years, is located less than a 10-minute drive from Bayern’s training centre and is described as a high-end home with extensive facilities. It includes multiple rooms, a private gym, a cinema room, a relaxation area with sauna and jacuzzi, and an outdoor swimming pool.

Despite the timing, Bild stresses that the decision to vacate the house is not connected to any imminent transfer away from Bayern.

The move has instead been triggered by the landlord’s plans for the property.

Boateng puts €11.5m villa on the market

The villa belongs to former Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng, who purchased the home in 2016 for €7.4m.

According to the report, Boateng has now put the property up for sale and has already received several offers, with the current value estimated at around €11.5m.

With the house expected to change ownership, Olise will be forced to find a new residence in the coming weeks, regardless of whether he remains a Bayern player or not.

Bayern firm amid Real Madrid interest

Olise’s performances for France at the 2026 World Cup have significantly raised his profile, with many European clubs reportedly monitoring his situation.

Real Madrid are among those said to be most keen, with multiple reports suggesting the Spanish champions want to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu to line up alongside Mbappe, after the pair impressed together for the national team in the tournament.

But Bayern are described as adamant that Olise will not be allowed to leave, seeing him as central to their plans as they attempt to reassert their dominance domestically and in Europe.

Club sources quoted in German media have indicated that the forward is considered a key part of the “non-negotiable” core of the squad.
