Initially, the reason for Fellaini’s absence was not disclosed by Manchester United. However, it has since been revealed that the Belgian international midfielder is suffering from a minor calf injury. This injury necessitates about a week of rest for Fellaini.

While Fellaini will miss the crucial match against Bayern Munich, he is expected to recover in time for Manchester United’s upcoming fixture against his former club Everton on April 20.
