Le Havre AC’s turmoil has deepened with the resignation of sporting director Demba Ba, leaving the Ligue 1 club without a coach, president or sporting director.
Ba’s departure follows the dismissal of manager Didier Digard and the resignation of president Jean-Michel Roussier. The Normandy club has been affected by a results crisis since the start of the season.
Digard was sacked by the club’s board after Le Havre AC suffered their seventh defeat of the campaign against PSG. A few days later, Roussier also decided to leave his position.
According to information published by L’Equipe, former international Ba has now submitted his resignation. He had been serving as the club’s sporting director.
His decision leaves Le Havre AC in an unprecedented situation, with all three of the club’s senior football leadership positions currently vacant.
