Largie Ramazani: Burnley bring in Belgium and Burundi winger on loan from Leeds

Largie Ramazani has joined Burnley, becoming the Championship club’s latest addition after moving from Leeds on loan. The Belgium and Burundi winger switches clubs on 1 September and has a contract with Burnley until 31 May 2027.

The 25-year-old operates primarily on the left wing and is capable of playing with his right foot. His arrival gives Burnley an experienced attacking option from a Leeds squad he rejoined in the summer after a loan spell at Valencia.

Ramazani spent the 2025-26 campaign with Valencia on loan from Leeds. He returned to the Yorkshire club on 30 June before completing his move to Burnley, with the agreement providing for his return to Leeds when the loan ends on 31 May 2027.

The winger initially joined Leeds from Spanish club UD Almeria in August 2024 for €7.7m. He helped Leeds win the English second tier during the 2024-25 season, adding another promotion honour to his record after winning Spain’s second division with Almeria in 2021-22.

Ramazani began his senior career at Almeria after leaving Manchester United’s under-23 side in 2020 on a free transfer. He had previously come through youth football at Manchester United and Charlton Athletic, having started in Anderlecht’s academy.

Born in Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, Belgium, Ramazani stands 1.68m tall. He joins a Burnley side competing in the Championship, while Leeds are listed as a Premier League club following his departure.

Ramazani’s move to Burnley was completed on loan from Leeds on 1 September 2026, with the player contracted to the club until the end of May 2027.
