Juventus finalise complex €50m move to bring PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani back to Turin

Juventus have reached a full agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign France forward Randal Kolo Muani in a deal that could be worth up to €50m after protracted and at times fragile negotiations.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus will pay an initial €38m to PSG, with a further €12m available in bonuses, to take Kolo Muani on loan with an obligation to buy. The overall value of the operation could therefore rise to €50m if all incentive clauses are met.

French outlets had earlier reported that the transfer was effectively done and that the 25-year-old will travel within 48 hours to undergo a medical and complete his move by signing his contract with the Italian club.

The agreement between the clubs is based on a season-long loan with a mandatory purchase at the end of the campaign. Sky Sport Italia add, however, that the obligation to buy will only be triggered if Juventus qualify for any European competition next season, after an earlier version of the deal had tied the clause solely to Champions League qualification.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported that the €38m figure covers both the loan and the subsequent permanent transfer fee, with an additional package of performance-related add-ons that could reach €12m.

Kolo Muani is expected to sign a five-year contract with Juventus, earning a fixed annual salary of €5.5m. His deal will also include up to €1.5m per season in potential bonuses linked to his performances.

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has said only that the value of the agreement exceeds €43m, while Italian reporter Alfredo Pedulla has stated that the total could climb to €50m, clarifying that part of the bonus structure is tied to targets regarded as difficult to achieve.

Kolo Muani’s time at Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain signed Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023 for a fee of €95m, amid high expectations that he would become a central figure in their attack.

However, the France international struggled to fully convince at the Parc des Princes and did not consistently deliver the level of impact anticipated when he arrived from the Bundesliga.

In 2025, Kolo Muani left PSG for a six-month loan spell at Juventus, where he had a first stint in Turin, before spending last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur.

The latest agreement now paves the way for a return to Juventus under significantly different terms, with the Italian club committing to a long-term investment in the striker, subject to their qualification for European football.
