Juste Ephrem Zio appointed Ligue de Football Professionnel executive secretary

The Federation Burkinabe de Football has appointed Juste Ephrem Zio as executive secretary of the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), replacing West Julien Tiendrebogo.

Zio is a former FIFA and CAF referee who had been working as match co-ordinator for the UFOA-B zone. He officiated several international fixtures and brings extensive experience from across the football sector.

He also has a detailed knowledge of Burkinabe football and works as a sports journalist. Zio is a member of the Association des journalistes sportifs du Burkina (AJSB).

His background in refereeing, match co-ordination and sports journalism will form the basis of his new responsibilities within the LFP.
