Ismail El Haddad announces departure from Wydad AC
In a heartfelt message posted on his Instagram account, El Haddad expressed his apologies to the extensive Wydad fan base, saying, “First, I want to apologize to the vast Wydad supporters.
I am the first to take responsibility because we did not bring them joy this year, as they have been accustomed to in the past ten years.”
El Haddad continued, “I want to bid farewell to the Wydad family because this is my last season with this great club.
From today, I will be a supporter of the club, as I have always been.”
El Haddad’s departure follows closely on the heels of another significant exit, with Mohamed Ounajem also announcing his decision to leave Wydad AC after the season concludes.
This series of departures signals a period of transition for the club, which has been a powerhouse in Moroccan football.
