Golden Arrows’ 4-0 win launches Soccer Laduma’s Pic of the Week caption challenge

Soccer Laduma readers are being invited to write the caption for this week’s popular ‘Pic of the Week’ feature.

The photograph appears in every edition of the publication, with Soccer Laduma traditionally providing a headline to describe the action. Readers can now suggest their own wording for the image.

Captions can be funny, inspiring or written in any style that best reflects the moment shown. Soccer Laduma will select the headline it considers most appropriate and publish it alongside the contributor’s name with the ‘Pic of the Week’.

This week’s image follows Golden Arrows’ emphatic 4-0 victory over Chippa United in the opening match of this season’s Carling Knockout at King Zwelithini Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Abafana Bes’thende have booked their place in the next round and will follow the remaining matches with interest before discovering which team they will face in the next draw.

Readers can submit their suggested headlines in the comments section below and check Soccer Laduma this week to see whether their entry has been selected for publication.
