Thierry Henry will make a return to Arsenal, but not as a player for his former club. Instead, the former French international will face the Gunners in a friendly match next July.
The New York Red Bulls, where Henry currently plays, and Arsenal have announced a friendly encounter to be held in the United States on July 26.
This match may mark one of Thierry Henry’s final appearances in his illustrious career before retiring from professional football.
Before that, Henry will serve as a BBC consultant during the World Cup in Brazil, starting from June 12.
