The head coach of the France national team, Didier Deschamps, has indicated that he has no doubt about the ability of Paul Pogba to get back to the highest level after having his ban from football lifted.
Paul Pogba recently had his doping ban lifted after staying away from football for 18 months.
The France midfielder of Guinean descent is currently without a club but optimistic he will find a new club in the summer transfer window.
Speaking to journalist after announcing his 24-man squad for France for the March international break, Didier Deschamps revealed that he has been in contact with Paul Pogba.
He said he does not doubt that the former Manchester United star will be back at the highest level of football very soon.
“He is supposed to be able to play again. We’re having exchanges and I won’t tell you the details of that.
“He has the ability and the mentality to return to the highest level. It won’t happen at the snap of a finger, but for the moment he hasn’t made a decision on his future club. We’ll see,” Didier Deschamps said.
Following the lifting of his ban, Paul Pogba has been linked with a move to French Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Marseille.
