Former Zamalek and Baladeyet El-Mahalla star Akram Abdel-Magid has hailed Pyramids FC as the best club in Egypt this season, as the club continue their push for the Egyptian Premier League title.

Pyramids have been one of the standout sides in the campaign, mounting a serious challenge at the top of the table with consistent performances, squad depth, and tactical discipline that have kept them firmly in the title race.

Speaking in televised remarks, Akram Abdel-Magid was full of admiration for the club’s balance and depth across all departments, insisting that their squad quality sets them apart from the rest of the league.

“Pyramids has a distinguished group of players in various positions, both local and foreign players, and it is the best team in Egypt at the moment. The substitute players are like the starters, and there are no big technical differences between them,” he said.

His comments highlighted the strength in depth that has become one of Pyramids’ defining features this season, with the team able to rotate without a noticeable drop in performance level.

Abdel-Magid also credited Jurčić for instilling a winning mentality and transforming the side into genuine title contenders, suggesting that the team now carries the psychological edge required to go all the way.

“Krunoslav Jurčić has created a special situation in the Premier League, and the team now possesses the character of a champion, and it is difficult for the team to stumble in the last two matches,” he added.

Under Jurcic’s guidance, Pyramids FC have developed into one of the most tactically disciplined and competitive teams in the league, combining defensive solidity with attacking efficiency to remain in contention for silverware.

As the season reaches its decisive stage, expectations continue to rise around the club, with many now viewing Pyramids as genuine favourites to challenge for the title if they maintain their current momentum.
