Notably, Teko Modise, a midfielder from Mamelodi Sundowns, is not included in the squad, which has surprised fans.

The squad includes players like Ronwen Williams and Itumeleng Khune as goalkeepers, defenders Thabo Nthete, Buhle Mkhwanazi, Tsepo Masilela, Anele Ngcongca, Thabo Matlaba, and Siyanda Xulu. In the midfield, there are players like Andile Jali, Oupa Manyisa, Bongani Zungu, Themba Zwane, Thulani Serero, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Kagisho Dikgacoi, and Ayanda Patosi. The forwards include Bernard Parker and Tokelo Rantie.

The matches are seen as part of the team’s preparation for future competitions, following recent fixtures against Spain and Brazil.
