Led by El Hadj Wack Diop, the regional head of the FIFA Development Office for West and Central Africa, the delegation also includes Silmara Sousa, the regional coordinator for Africa of the FIFA Member Associations Division.

The visit encompassed inspections of vital sports and technical facilities across Ghana, with particular emphasis on infrastructure crucial for the advancement of football.

Notable locations visited by the delegation included the Technical Center of the Ghana Football Federation and the Center of Excellence for Ghanaian Football, situated in Prampram and the Eastern region, respectively.

During these site visits, the FIFA officials meticulously assessed the condition and suitability of grounds, hostels, and conference rooms, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standards in football infrastructure.

The delegation’s thorough evaluation underscores FIFA’s commitment to fostering the growth of football in Ghana and ensuring that the necessary facilities are in place to nurture talent and facilitate the development of the sport at all levels.

As the visit concluded, the FIFA delegation departed Ghana with valuable insights and observations, reaffirming the organization’s dedication to supporting football development initiatives worldwide.
