EUROPA LEAGUE: ASAMOAH, KEITA, BEDIMO IN ATTRACTION, THE WHOLE PROGRAM
After the quarter-final second legs of the Champions League played on Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday, April 10th, is marked by the second leg matches of the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
Olympique Lyonnais, led by Cameroonian Henri Bedimo, suffered a defeat at Gerlan (0-1) against Juventus, led by Ghanaian Kwadwo Asamoah. They are now facing an almost impossible task at the Old Lady’s home ground, where Antonio Conte’s men have remained undefeated in European competition this season.
FC Sevilla hosts Porto after losing 1-0 in the first leg. Seydou Keita’s Valencia CF, on the other hand, faces a tougher challenge as they welcome FC Basel to Mestalla after a crushing 3-0 defeat in Switzerland. Both Spanish teams will need to give their all if they want to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
AZ Alkmaar, defeated by Benfica in the first leg, must stage a comeback. However, they face a daunting task on Portuguese soil.
