Enugu, renowned as the heartland of Nigerian football, will play host to the NNL Playoffs for the 2023-2024 season, as confirmed by George Aluo, the president of the NNL.

In a statement heralding the announcement, Aluo expressed his delight at the Enugu State Government’s gracious decision to embrace this prestigious event.

“I am happy to announce that the Enugu State Government has graciously agreed to host the Super 8 in the land of Nigerian football,” remarked Aluo, underscoring the significance of Enugu’s rich footballing heritage.

Assuring participating teams of a warm reception, Aluo emphasized the commitment to ensuring their comfort and convenience throughout the tournament.

“We promise all participating teams that they will be treated with the finest hospitality that Coal City is known for.

Just as the governor did, he promised to make all the logistics available for a smooth championship,” affirmed Aluo, highlighting the collaborative efforts to facilitate a seamless competition.
