Ghana’s Under-20 national team coach, Sellas Tetteh, acknowledges that his team is mathematically favored against Algeria in the third group match of the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations (Group A). Ghana needs only one point to secure qualification. However, Tetteh recognizes the challenge posed by Algeria, especially considering the home advantage and the support of thousands of Algerian fans. The coach emphasizes that the qualification will be determined on the field during the match. Currently, Ghana is second in Group A with three points, trailing Egypt (6 points), which has already secured a spot in the 2013 World Cup in Turkey. Algeria and Benin are competing for the third spot with 1 point each.
