Algerian international Rayan Ait-Nouri has expressed his excitement after completing his move to Manchester City.
Speaking in his first interview after joining the English giants, the full-back said it’s an honour for him to sign for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“I am incredibly happy and honoured to have joined Manchester City.
“City are one of the biggest clubs in the world and the chance to play for the club is a dream come true,” Rayan Ait-Nouri said.
Manchester City announced the signing of Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolverhampton Wanderers in an official statement on Monday, June 9.
In the statement, the club said the versatile youngster has signed a five-year contract.
“The 24-year-old left-back has penned a five-year deal at the Etihad Stadium meaning he will remain at the Club until the summer of 2030,” an official club statement from Manchester City said.
Ait-Nouri has established a reputation as one of the most exciting full-backs in the Premier League over the past five years with his productivity in the final third and ability to thwart opposition attacks.
He is now set to take his career to the next level and will have a big role to play in Pep Guardiola’s team.
