CAF Confederation Cup: AS FAR take half-time lead against CO de Korhogo

AS FAR lead CO de Korhogo 1-0 at half-time in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round tie.

Youssef Al Fahli gave the Moroccan side an early advantage, scoring in the fifth minute in front of their home supporters.

The goal puts AS FAR ahead in the race to qualify for the group stage after the first leg in Cote d’Ivoire ended goalless.

CO de Korhogo must find a response after the break if they are to equalise and revive their hopes of progressing. AS FAR, meanwhile, will aim to protect their lead or extend it and move closer to qualification.
