Bursaspor lead race to sign Nigeria winger Henry Onyekuru

Bursaspor are in advanced talks to sign Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru as the Turkish club look to strengthen their attack for the second half of the season.

The 28-year-old winger is currently a free agent and could join on a six-month contract, with an option to extend his stay. His arrival would provide Bursaspor with added experience and attacking quality.

However, Onyekuru will have to wait before making his competitive debut for the club.

Under the Turkish Football Federation’s registration rules, the former Galatasaray player cannot be registered until the January transfer window opens. He will be permitted to begin training with Bursaspor immediately to build up his fitness, but he will not be able to play for his new side until the new year.
