Amara Diouf set for Fenerbahce registration as January 2027 move approaches

Amara Diouf is expected to take a significant step forward at Fenerbahce during the January 2027 transfer window after missing the first half of the season while recovering from injury.

The young Senegalese forward, formerly of Generation Foot, joined the Istanbul club with high ambitions but has been unable to feature since moving to Turkey. Unless there is an unexpected change of plan, January should bring the formal confirmation of his status and his registration in Fenerbahce’s professional squad.

That would make Diouf available for the club’s upcoming fixtures and bring an end to a difficult period away from competitive football.

Fenerbahce are also actively considering sending him on a temporary loan to another Super Lig club. The proposal is intended to help the forward rebuild his match fitness and readjust to the intensity of regular competition after his lengthy absence.

A spell elsewhere in Turkey would allow Diouf to gain experience of the Super Lig before attempting to establish himself permanently with Fenerbahce, known as the Canaries.
