Bayern Munich is causing concern among its fans. After securing the Bundesliga title on the 27th matchday ten days ago, the club has failed to win since. Following a 3-3 draw in the league against Hoffenheim, the Bavarians were also held to a draw at Old Trafford against Manchester United in the Champions League.
However, their defeat this Saturday against Augsburg is particularly worrying. Despite resting key players like Ribéry, Robben, and Lahm, Bayern lost 1-0 to Augsburg, with Molders scoring the only goal in the 31st minute.
This marks the first time in nearly two years (since April 14, 2012) that Bayern Munich has failed to score in a Bundesliga match. It’s also the team’s first defeat in 53 Bundesliga matches.
The defeat has prompted some criticism, with some suggesting that Pep Guardiola may have rotated his squad too much.
