Barcelona open door for Rony Bardghji amid summer squad overhaul

Rony Bardghji will not travel with Barcelona for their pre-season friendly against Udinese as the club prepares to part company with the winger, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The report confirms information Romano published a day earlier about the Sweden international’s expected exit. He said Bardghji is set to leave Barcelona, although the final arrangement has not yet been decided.

The 19-year-old could depart either on loan or through a permanent transfer. Any permanent deal is expected to include a buy-back clause, allowing Barcelona the option to bring him back in the future.

Bardghji’s omission comes as Barcelona continue to reshape their attacking options under Flick. The club have signed Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi, with both players capable of operating as wingers.
