Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly have denied talks with Orlando Pirates winger Relebohele Mofokeng over a possible transfer.
The 20-year-old left-winger initially popped up on the radar of the record Champions League holders due to his swashbuckling performance.
Mofokeng has been impressive in the South African top-flight this season, scoring 2 goals and providing 5 assists from 12 games.
His outstanding performance caught the attention of several clubs on the African continent and Europe at large.
The enterprising winger was an option for Al Ahly, but Orlando Pirates are said to be considering European move in summer 2025.
Pirates will be counting on their talisman as the team gear up for the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals.
However, the leadership of the team have decided not to cash in on the winger until the end of the current season.
Meanwhile, Al-Ahly have already bolstered their squad with the acquisition of four new players, namely, Mustafa Al-Ash, Ahmed Reda, Nijk Gradishar and Ashraf Ben Sharqi.
