Olympique de Marseille officially welcomes Kassim Abdallah to Its reserve team

Olympique de Marseille has formally announced the acquisition of experienced Comorian international right back, Kassim Abdallah, for its reserve team. The 36-year-old footballer, who previously played for the club between 2012 and 2014, brings a wealth of experience to bolster the Phocéens reserve squad.

Kassim Abdallah’s return to Marseille has been in the works since December 2023, and the club has now confirmed the completion of the deal through an official press release published on its website, om.fr, on February 19, 2024. The seasoned right back has inked a contract that extends until 2025.

Having most recently played for Marignane-Gignac-Côte-Bleue FC in the National league, Abdallah’s comeback to Olympique de Marseille marks a significant reunion.

His earlier stint with the club showcased his prowess, and now, the seasoned player aims to contribute valuable experience and skill to the reserve team.

During his tenure with Marignane-Gignac-Côte-Bleue FC, Kassim Abdallah featured in 18 matches across various competitions, showcasing his versatility on the field.

The Olympian ranks are set to benefit from his presence as he joins the National 3 team, adding depth and expertise to the squad.

Abdallah’s return to Olympique de Marseille is anticipated to invigorate the reserve team, providing mentorship and leadership to the emerging talents.
