Achraf Hakimi returns to full fitness ahead of PSG’s UCL clash against Bayern Munich
Achraf Hakimi has been declared fit for Paris Saint-Germain just in time for their crucial UEFA Champions League semi-final clash against Bayern Munich, providing a significant lift for the French side ahead of the first leg.
The Moroccan defender had raised concerns after he was forced off at halftime during PSG’s recent victory over Angers, leaving doubts about his availability for one of the club’s most important fixtures of the season. However, those fears have now been put to rest.
According to Le Parisien, Hakimi has recovered quickly and is in line to start the semi-final, with the right-back expected to take part fully in the team’s final preparations.
PSG’s fitness outlook is improving across the board, with Nuno Mendes and Vitinha also closing in on full match fitness, giving the squad added depth at a decisive stage of the campaign.
For head coach Luis Enrique, the timing is ideal. With most of his squad available, PSG head into the encounter at the Parc des Princes carrying both confidence and momentum.
What initially appeared to be a setback has now transformed into a major advantage. Hakimi’s return not only strengthens PSG defensively but also restores one of their most dangerous attacking outlets on the right flank, a factor that could prove pivotal as they chase a place in the Champions League final.
