Bayern Munich are closely tracking Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Wael Mohya, with sporting director Max Eberl confirming that the 17-year-old is on the club’s list of potential targets.
Eberl told Sky that Bayern are following Mohya’s development, but made clear that no concrete approach or negotiations have been made for the young player.
Mohya, who is of Moroccan origin, is regarded as one of the emerging talents at Borussia Monchengladbach. His performances in midfield have already attracted attention and could lead to further interest from leading German clubs in the coming months.
Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig are also interested in the teenager, according to exclusive sources cited by Africafoot.
Mohya is under contract with Borussia Monchengladbach until 2028 and is currently valued at 17 million euros. Bayern are therefore expected to continue monitoring his progress before deciding whether to make a formal move.
The teenager’s development will be followed closely as Borussia Monchengladbach prepare to face Dortmund in the 10th matchday of the German championship.
For that fixture, 1xbet lists Borussia Monchengladbach at 4.30 to win, with a draw priced at 4.00 and a Dortmund victory at 1.47.
