Nigeria’s Under-23 side have begun training at the Remo Stars Sports Complex as preparations gather pace for the upcoming Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The squad’s arrival at the Ikenne-based centre in Ogun State marks the start of its formal build-up to the qualifying campaign. The coaching staff are expected to assess the players while working to assemble a competitive team capable of securing Nigeria’s place in the continental tournament.

Training will focus on examining the players’ physical condition, improving their tactical understanding and developing the coordination required for the crucial qualifying matches.

With qualification for the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations at stake, Nigeria will aim to make full use of its time at the facility and build the team cohesion needed to compete against its opponents.

The Remo Stars Sports Complex will serve as the team’s training base as the players prepare to meet the demands of their next assignment.
