Barcelona fans set the tone for Clasico with provocative banner aimed at Real Madrid

Barcelona supporters created a charged atmosphere ahead of their La Liga meeting with Real Madrid on Sunday, unfurling a banner reading: “Your hell is blaugrana.”

The Clasico is being played at Camp Nou, with Barcelona starting the match at the top of the table on 27 points. Real Madrid are third on 21 points and need a positive result to revive their challenge.

Although there is still a long way to go in the La Liga season, the fixture gives Barcelona the opportunity to increase their advantage over their rivals. The match has been framed as a final for the leaders, while Real Madrid are described as struggling and needing the points to return strongly to the title race.

Video published by Spanish newspaper Sport showed Barcelona fans chanting for their team in the area around the stadium before entering the stands.

Supporters gathered along Travessera de Les Corts, where they displayed the message in Catalan: “El vostre infern es blaugrana” – “Your hell is blaugrana”.

The footage, shared by Sport on 25 October 2026, showed the build-up to one of the most significant fixtures of the La Liga campaign.
