Juventus are considering a move for Manchester City left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri during the next winter transfer window, according to journalist Ekrem Konur.
The Italy club are monitoring the Algeria international as they look to strengthen the left side of their defence. Ait-Nouri’s limited playing time at Manchester City is understood to have increased Juventus’ interest in the 25-year-old.
Juventus could make a formal offer as early as January if the necessary conditions are met. The Turin club will first need to assess Manchester City’s position and determine whether negotiations between the two sides can take place.
Ait-Nouri’s role at Manchester City during the remainder of the season could also influence his decision over his future. His position in the squad’s rotation and the prospects of securing more minutes are expected to be important factors.
The defender is under contract with Manchester City until 30 June 2030 and has an estimated market value of €35m.
Ait-Nouri has made three appearances in all competitions this season, providing three assists and playing 123 minutes.
Juventus face competition for his signature, with Manchester United also interested in signing the Algeria international, according to exclusive information from Africafoot.
The Turin club will soon play their Serie A matchday-eight fixture against Lecce. The published odds for the game list Juventus at 1.45 to win, a draw at 4.10 and a Lecce victory at 6.00.
