AC Milan linked with Cagliari striker Paul Mendy
Senegal forward Paul Mendy, who plays for Cagliari, has been linked with a move to fellow Serie A club AC Milan.
The 19-year-old centre-forward has started all seven of Cagliari’s Serie A matches this season, contributing one goal and one assist. He has played 83% of the available league minutes and has also scored once in two appearances in the Italy Cup.
Mendy joined Cagliari’s senior side from the club’s Under-20 team in March 2026, having moved to the academy from Senegalese club AS Bambey in February 2025. His current market value is €12m.
The left-footed striker, who was born in Rufisque, is under contract with Cagliari until 30 June 2031. That long-term agreement means any potential move to Milan would involve negotiations between the Serie A clubs rather than a free transfer.
Mendy has worn the Cagliari shirt during a season in which he has been selected in the starting line-up for every league and cup appearance recorded so far. AC Milan and Cagliari are both in Serie A, with the reported link concerning a possible move within Italy.
No transfer has been confirmed, and Mendy remains a Cagliari player.
