Tottenham linked with Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger
German centre-back Antonio Rudiger, currently at Real Madrid, is being linked with a move to Tottenham in the Premier League.
The 33-year-old has made four La Liga appearances and two in the Champions League this season, scoring once in each competition. He has started 33% of Real Madrid’s league matches and played 38% of their available minutes in the competition.
Rudiger joined Real Madrid from Chelsea on a free transfer in July 2022 and has since helped the Spanish club win the Champions League, the Spanish league and the FIFA Club World Cup. He has won Europe’s premier club competition twice, also lifting the trophy with Chelsea in 2020-21.
The defender spent five seasons at Chelsea after moving from Roma in 2017, making more than 130 appearances for the London club before switching to Madrid. He also won the Europa League and FA Cup during his time in England.
Rudiger’s possible move to Tottenham would represent a return to the Premier League, although the Madrid defender remains contracted to Real until 30 June 2027.
