Raja Casablanca secured their place in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage with a 2-0 victory over El-Kanemi Warriors in the second-leg of their second preliminary-round tie.
The Moroccan side advanced 4-2 on aggregate after the teams drew 2-2 in the first leg. Playing at the Complexe Sportif Mohammed V, Raja faced a disciplined and compact El-Kanemi Warriors defence and were forced to remain patient.
Their breakthrough finally arrived in the 87th minute, when Aymen Barkok scored to put the hosts in front and ease the pressure in Casablanca.
Defender Marian Huja then confirmed Raja’s qualification by adding a second goal in the fourth minute of added time, completing the 2-0 win.
The late improvement ensured the Casablanca club avoided a tense finish to the tie and continued their continental campaign with a place in the group stage.
