Pyramids remain alone at the top of the Egyptian Premier League after the seventh round, while Ghazl El Mahalla moved up two places after securing their first win of the campaign against Al Ittihad Alexandria.
Pyramids have 21 points, four clear of Al Ahly, with Zamalek a further point behind in third. Ceramica Cleopatra occupy fourth place on 15 points.
The first phase of the competition will determine the title contenders and the clubs qualifying for continental competitions. The six highest-ranked teams will progress to the championship phase.
Teams finishing from seventh to 20th will instead compete to avoid relegation, with the bottom four clubs eventually dropping out of the division.
The eighth round is scheduled to begin next Wednesday.
