Al Ahly defender Yasser Ibrahim has fully recovered from his injury and is available to return to action after a lengthy absence, football director Wail Gomaa has told FilGoal.com.
Ibrahim was injured during Al Ahly’s Egyptian Premier League match against El Mokawloon El Arab. His recovery has now been completed, leaving him ready to feature in upcoming matches.
Al Ahly are also working to renew the defender’s contract, which is due to expire at the end of the current season.
The club’s next fixture is against Qanah in the seventh round of the Egyptian Premier League on Wednesday.
Al Ahly go into that match after beating Uganda’s Kitara 2-1 in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The return match between the two sides will be played at Cairo International Stadium on Sunday.
