Egypt will host the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League for the second consecutive year, with the tournament scheduled to take place from 1 to 15 November.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed that the North African country will stage the competition, which brings together eight clubs from across the continent to compete for the continental title.

Egypt hosted the inaugural edition in 2021 and will now stage the tournament for the third time.

Several teams have already secured qualification through their respective regional competitions, including two-time champions Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, who will represent the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA).

Uganda’s Kawempe Muslim will represent the East and Central African Football Associations (CECAFA), while Cameroon’s Lekié FF qualified from the Central African Football Federations’ Union (UNIFFAC).

Mali’s USFAS will represent the West African Football Union Zone A (WAFU A), while Morocco’s Fath Union Sport (FUS) Rabat secured their place through the North African Football Union (UNAF) qualifiers.

Defending champions AS FAR Rabat, also from Morocco, will return to defend their title.

The remaining two places will be filled by the WAFU Zone B representative, whose identity is yet to be determined, and a club representing hosts Egypt.

The 2026 edition is expected to provide another platform for Africa’s leading women’s clubs to compete at the highest continental level, while supporting the continued growth and development of women’s football.
