Colombe Sportive secured a valuable 2-0 away win against Teungueth FC Rufisque in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League on Sunday, 18 October 2026.
The Cameroonian side produced a disciplined tactical display at Dakar’s Leopold Sedar Senghor stadium and made the perfect start through Jean-Hugues Eyango Priso.
The forward opened the scoring in the 13th minute after capitalising on a fluent attacking move involving the Teungueth FC Rufisque players. His finish gave Colombe Sportive a crucial away goal and put them 1-0 ahead.
The Vert and Violet then defended their advantage with composure, keeping the Senegalese side at bay until half-time.
Colombe Sportive struck again shortly after the interval, catching the home team cold in the 47th minute. Adam Musah scored the second goal, leaving the Dakar crowd with little hope of a comeback and disrupting the home side’s attempt to restart the match with renewed intensity.
Now two goals behind on their own ground, Teungueth FC Rufisque increased their attacking efforts in search of a response. However, Colombe Sportive’s defence dealt calmly with each Senegalese attack and managed the advantage effectively.
The result gives the Cameroonian representatives a strong position ahead of the decisive meeting in Yaounde.
