Germany recorded their first victory under Jurgen Klopp with a 2-0 win over Serbia in Munich, while Portugal preserved their perfect Nations League Group A4 record by beating Denmark 4-2 in Copenhagen.
The Netherlands recovered from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Greece in Thessaloniki, and Wales ended a six-match winless run by defeating 10-man Norway 2-1 in Cardiff.
Germany 2-0 Serbia
Tom Bischof and Florian Wirtz scored as Germany secured a controlled victory at the Allianz Arena, giving Klopp his first win since becoming manager.
Germany dominated the first half but had to wait until just before the interval for the breakthrough. Wirtz’s close control took him into the area and his shot struck the post, with Bischof reacting fastest to drive the rebound into the roof of the net.
Derry Scherhant went close several times on his international debut after the break, while Nick Woltemade lifted a close-range effort over the crossbar.
Germany doubled their lead in the 60th minute when Maximilian Mittelstadt found Wirtz after advancing down the left. Wirtz turned away from Srdjan Babic and placed the ball into the bottom corner.
Serbia offered little sustained attacking threat. The defeat was their sixth in seven matches during 2026.
Denmark 2-4 Portugal
Portugal made it three wins from three in Group A4 despite Cristiano Ronaldo being left out of the squad, with Goncalo Ramos scoring twice in an entertaining victory.
Ramos struck the post before Joao Cancelo put Portugal ahead in the 15th minute, finishing calmly after combining with Ramos and breaking through the Denmark defence.
Mikkel Damsgaard levelled eight minutes later, curling into the far corner after Joakim Maehle’s cut-back. Portugal immediately restored their advantage as Bruno Fernandes set up Ramos, who delivered a composed low finish for his second international goal in four days.
Denmark equalised again eight minutes after half-time when Damsgaard released Rasmus Hojlund. He lifted the ball over Diogo Costa and celebrated with Ronaldo’s trademark celebration.
Vitinha headed in Fernandes’ delivery in the 67th minute before Joao Felix completed the scoring from Diogo Dalot’s pass.
Greece 2-2 Netherlands
Greece appeared on course for another major Nations League win after Fotis Ioannidis opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, taking Georgios Masouras’ flick-on before finishing past Bart Verbruggen.
Ioannidis then turned provider before half-time, allowing Masouras to slide in Greece’s second.
The Netherlands improved sharply after the interval. Virgil van Dijk headed in from Joey Veerman’s corner shortly before the hour, while two apparent equalisers from Denzel Dumfries were ruled out after VAR reviews.
Tijjani Reijnders completed the comeback late on, volleying powerfully after Noa Lang’s ball was not cleared.
Wales 2-1 Norway
Wales secured their first win in the top tier of the Nations League after overturning Oscar Bobb’s opener against Norway.
Bobb ran between two defenders onto Martin Odegaard’s pass and finished into the bottom corner, but Daniel James equalised before half-time from Sorba Thomas’ delivery with his 11th international goal.
Norway were reduced to 10 men seconds after the restart when Torbjorn Heggem brought down James while trying to guide the ball back to his goalkeeper. Neco Williams curled the resulting free-kick beyond the wall and into the bottom corner.
Erling Haaland headed wide and Jorgen Strand Larsen went close late on, but Wales held on for Craig Bellamy’s side. Norway have now lost consecutive matches for the first time in four years.
